Balloons, streamers and banners, it wouldn’t be a party without them.  Still, decorating in line with the theme of the party is necessary, but that doesn’t mean you can’t add to it.  Since it is graduation, you could hang a few tasselled caps along with the school colours and mascot. 

Add a personal touch, by getting hold of the yearbook photos and enlarging them.  Put up the pictures goes well if having the party for your own child or their friends who are also graduating that year.  Also, consider showing off some trophies and awards the graduate won through the years.
