Graduation Party Games

A little bit of fun will liven up any party, but you must be careful on the games you pick.  ‘Pin the tail on the donkey’ will not exactly go down well with most teenagers, so for those who are graduating high school – bad idea.  At the same time, you don’t want the games to be too adult so nothing racy.

Games ideas will largely rely on the type of party you’re throwing and the theme.  Try picking games that your younger guests, and especially the graduate, won’t feel silly playing.

Consider a murder mystery or a ‘pub style’ general knowledge quiz.  Name that tune or every high school student’s favourite pastime – the ‘most hated teacher’ dartboard.  You don’t even have to use real darts if you are worried about injuries.  The suction cup darts work just as well.

Graduation Party Ideas

The party is a celebration with the Graduate at the centre of the festivities.  That said; there are no rules.  The party could be anything from an intimate gathering of family in your backyard to a ballroom filled with everyone your child knows, even your local bowling alley.
No matter what you choose, remember it’s not about you, it is the Graduate.  Your child has made a great achievement and through that, the party can take on an element of the Graduate.  Mix in a little bit of their hobbies, their favourite sport or entertainment.
